: Tuesday : Creations :

So, this last week I finished Jared's checker board and painted 24 corresponding rock game peices, but I do not want to post any pictures until I knit a matching bag to hold both the board and the rocks, though they have their own little muslin bag. I will feature this next week.

The quilt for Jared's birthday is still in progress, but I have only this and next week to complete it, so I had better get a move on.

I am going to be starting a knitted mouse hand puppet for Jared this week, as well. The tutorial is here. If I can, I will modify this pattern to make other animal hand puppets, also.

I have not started the other knitted cotton wash cloth my friend and I are making together, so I will wait until it is done to present both of them at the same time.

And finally, I started and finished a knitted tie bandana, which I love! I refuse to cut my hair short, and I don't like wearing it up in a pony tail, bun, or braid. However, I also don't like it falling in my face and hindering my peripheral vision every time I look down. So, here it is. I thought it would be hot and heavy, as opposed to sewing a cotton fabric bandana, but it is light and comfortable.

If you would like to share what you are working on, please add your link to the comments below. Enjoy creating and working with your 2 hands.

  1. That bandana looks cute on you. I feel ya on the hair blocking your peripheral vision, very irritating!
I am so slacking on my dishcloth. It's only about half way done. I think I will work on it right now.

  2. Oh wait. I guess I'm not going to work on it right now. It seems I have forgotten to bring my project with me to work. :/
