Works in Progress

I have actually been getting a quilt or 2 nearly done. I finally practiced the free motion quilting on the In the Garden quilt, shown just below as a sneak peek. I have to still hand sew the rest of the binding and it will be complete. The front of the quilt looks great, but the back got a little bunched up. I will use basting spray on my next quilt to ensure it's positioned correctly when sandwiching the layers.

Below, I cut these 5" charms in half and made the patchwork for Liv's baby quilt (she is my cousin's new baby girl). Quilting has never been faster than this project.

I had 5 strips done in no time. All I have to do is cut some white strips and put the quilt top completely together. Exciting!
