This week's photo gallery is sparse...too busy with all else and I never seem to have my camera on hand, lately.
This little mole was saved from an untimely death from my mischevious cat. He was so tiny and timid. He was nowhere near our garden, so he posed no threat. Even if he did, we wouldn't harm the little guy. We scooped him up and returned him to a more remote area, where the cat would no longer toy with him.
Our local lake has been on drought mode for the last 3 years or so, but this year truly made up for it, whereas the volume had to have nearly doubled after the rain and Sierra snow. We took a hike along the edge of the water.
Somehow, I never would have thought to couple daisies and baby pines. Cute mixture.
