The natural feel of baskets is spectacular. The curves, the colors, the feel, the weave.... They also remind me of a time when people made everything by hand with loving diligence and mindful presense. So, we like having various baskets around the house for various things. We use baskets for everything under the sun, from craft supplies to hats to shoes to toys to magazines to office supplies. It makes life's necessities a whole lot prettier and organized. Today, I went to the thrift store here in town and picked up a few more. I am always finding new reasons to purchase more. This time around, I spent a few bucks, which is always extremely satisfying.
