36 Patch Quilt Along ~ Week 1

I enjoy following along with a few amazing mom quilters (especially since I don't know where they find the time with young ones), including a blog called Crazy Mom Quilts. Just recently, she began a quilt-along which requires the completion of one block, or patch, a week. Each block has two contrasting fabrics and so the entire quilt will be composed of 72 different fabrics. Here is the first one I have completed so far.

This is going to turn out to be quite an eclectic quilt and a super fun process. I will be posting a new block each week, so stay tuned!!
