This past week, I don't feel as though I have accomplished much as far as handwork is concerned. That is okay, though. My concentration has been on other things, I suppose.
I did finish the first wash cloth my friend and I were knitting, though I have not tied in loose ends yet. I will feature the final product in next week's issue.
Additionally, I gathered several rounded rocks on one of our recent hikes for game pieces to a knit checker board I am working on currently for Jared.
I still have not made an elastic strap for Jared's birthday crown, but I will by next week.
Lastly, I finally started Jared's quilt. I have almost all the squares cut out and 3 out of 12 blocks made. Here is a sneak peek.
I really hope to have the quilt done by the end of next week. His birthday is creeping up fairly quickly. I also need to get on those animal hand puppets I was going to knit for him, as well. So many projects, so little time...
Great job! I really like your blue and brown quilt. Do have any finished images?
